“Folks, just to clarify news elsewhere of a new Blackfield album coming this year - please note that this time my involvement will be as a contributor rather than a member. I will still be mixing the album, and maybe sing on a couple of Aviv’s songs (there will be other guest singers I understand), but with my complete blessing Blackfield is now under his sole curatorship, a process which really began with Welcome to My DNA.”

Finally we have a preview of the new material to come from Blackfield; they’ve put up one of Wilson’s usual medley’s of various tracks, and it sounds like a fantastic mix of tracks so far. Go check it out!
Bit of a late post, so a lot of you probably already know about this, but Blackfield have announced their latest tour to support the new album (due in March), find out more here on their facebook.
I can personally say they put on a pretty good live show, so if you like their music it’s worth checking out!
